Leadership and Supporting Student Mental Health
As students return to campus each year, faculty and staff work to create a supportive campus environment. Building institutional capacity to integrate mental health concerns is crucial for meeting the needs of students and the campus community. Participants in this workshop will gain an understanding of the Excellence in Mental Health Framework, which can be used to assess, intervene, and evaluate efforts. They will also learn to describe elements of Trauma-Informed Leadership and Principles of Sustainable Leadership to develop practices needed in their organizations.
