What Workshop Companion collects

Workshop Companion works without an account and without accepting analytics.

Before you choose

Nothing is collected before you choose. No analytics cookie or tracker loads until you accept, and if you reject, none ever does.

If you accept analytics

If you accept, we set one first-party analytics cookie holding a random identifier for up to six months, and send page and step counts to PostHog, our analytics provider. Those events may include PostHog’s standard device properties, such as browser, operating system and device type. Location from your IP address is turned off.

This is the same consent-based analytics My Digital Sanctuary uses.

What we never collect

We never create PostHog person profiles, never use advertising or tracking pixels, never record your screen, and never send names, email addresses, form answers or anything you type.

Cookies

One essential cookie remembers your choice for six months. It holds no identifier.

Requests and event codes

If you request a workshop, the details you give (including your name, work email and organisation) go to The Steve Fund workshops team so they can reply. A secure cookie lets you see that request’s status for seven days.

When you enter an event code, a one-way scrambled form of your network address is kept briefly to stop repeated guessing. It is deleted automatically.

Post-event survey

The optional post-event survey keeps your answers, the event code and date, and the time you send them, for two years after the event. It never asks who you are and nothing links your answers to you. A small cookie on your device lists the events you have answered for, so the same answers are not counted twice.

Your choices

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control turn analytics off even after you accept. You can change your choice at any time in Privacy settings; withdrawing deletes the analytics cookie.

The Steve Fund’s privacy policy covers the organisation as a whole.
